What happens if I don’t proceed with a sale?

All sales on Sofalistic are on a first-come, first-served basis, so it’s essential to ensure that your item is available if it’s listed. If you sell your item elsewhere or give it away, please deactivate the listing in your account as soon as possible. This helps prevent a buyer from purchasing an item that is no longer available and ensures a smoother experience for everyone on Sofalistic.

If you decline a sale to increase the price, unfortunately, we cannot re-list your item. Sellers must adjust the price of their item while it’s actively listed. Once a buyer purchases, the price is fixed.

If you decline a sale or miss your 48-hour confirmation window, you’ll receive an automated email notifying you that your listings have been temporarily unpublished. Don’t worry! Just let us know if your items are still available, and we’ll reactivate them.

Once an item has been purchased, we cannot re-list the item without first contacting the original buyer. If they’re still interested, we’ll proceed with the sale. If not, we’ll reactivate your listing so it’s available for others to purchase.
