Why do I need to upload more than one photo for my listing?

Buyers want to see how an item will look in their home before making a purchase. The more photos you provide, the better! Data shows that adding at least three photos significantly increases your chances of making a sale.

Our goal is to help you sell your item quickly and easily, and nothing makes that easier than great photos. A picture speaks a thousand words, so having good-quality images is essential.

Start by setting the scene – make sure the area around your item is tidy and uncluttered, and ensure the photos capture a clear, full view of the item.

Once your space is ready, take photos from various angles and perspectives to give potential buyers as much detail as possible.

We always suggest as a minimum taking the following photos:

Front shot (this should be your main image – the catalogue / shop window kind!)

Left side

Right side

Back

For sofas, underneath the cushions (if they lift up) – This helps show the frame and condition
